Leadership for Non-Profit Excellence
A Course Designed for Female Leaders
Announcing the Second Cohort of Leadership for Non-Profit Excellence – Starting May 2025!
I am thrilled to announce the launch of the second cohort of Leadership for Non-Profit Excellence, kicking off on May 15, 2025!
After the success of our first cohort and the overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, I am excited to introduce the second cohort of Leadership for Non-Profit Excellence. The first cohort, which ran from January to March 2024, received excellent reviews, with all participants strongly agreeing that the course provided valuable and fresh perspectives, contributed to their leadership development, and was well-organized and effectively facilitated. See more of what the participants shared here.
Designed for executive directors, managers, and coordinators alike, Leadership for Non-Profit Excellence provides leaders at all levels with the practical tools needed to excel—whether you're stepping into leadership for the first time or refining well-established skills for greater impact.
While the course is intentionally crafted to support leaders at different stages of their journey, it maintains a high level of rigor to ensure that all participants—whether new or experienced—are challenged and engaged with meaningful content. This is not an "introductory" program; it blends foundational principles with advanced strategies, offering insights that are practical, thought-provoking, and applicable across various leadership roles.
The diversity of experience among participants is one of the course’s greatest strengths.
Bringing together leaders from different levels—executive directors, managers, and coordinators—creates a unique opportunity for cross-role collaboration and shared learning. Seasoned leaders gain fresh insights by seeing challenges through the eyes of emerging managers, while those newer to leadership benefit from a deeper understanding of the scope of responsibility, accountability, and the complex challenges faced by executive leaders.
This dynamic exchange fosters a richer understanding of how different leadership roles connect, helping participants build stronger, more collaborative teams within their organizations.
By the end of the course, every participant—regardless of their experience level—will walk away with valuable tools, new perspectives, and strategies tailored to their leadership challenges and future growth.
With 23 years of experience in the non-profit sector—nearly two decades of it in senior leadership—I understand the unique challenges and rewards that come with the territory. Like you, I’ve faced the pressure of limited time and resources, all while striving to make a meaningful impact in our communities.
As a woman who has had the guidance and support of great female leaders throughout my career, I consider it my duty to pay it forward and support women in their leadership journey.
That’s why I’ve meticulously designed this course for female leaders like you. Leadership for Non-Profit Excellence will provide you with the tools and strategies to elevate your leadership, manage strategic priorities, foster a positive organizational culture, and build a high-performing team.
